End of 2021 Newsletter and Updates

Good afternoon.  Please read below for updates before the Holdiay Break! 

Admin Window: 

  • UPDATE: ADMIN WINDOW WILL CLOSE JANUARY 10 AT 11:59PM 
  • You should still be updating your entity profiles based on the information we sent earlier this month. 
  •  The State Valid File (SVF) will be sent to you when we return from break in January.  The good news is we will be using the data for Student Count and NSLP currently in your profiles from the 2020 SVF.  (No new data being collected due to everyone still eating free due to Covid).  No changes will be necessary unless you have a NEW school or want to request a new budget. 
  • We will also be sending along a 2022 SVF file with 2022 student counts for BUDGETS ONLY.  If you have gained a significant number of students, you may want to apply for a budget adjustment.  In this case, you may use the 2022 file with student counts to change the BUDGET numbers ONLY.  Directions on how to do this are HERE. 

Form 471 Filing Window:

  • Opens January 12, 2021 at 12:00 noon EST and will close on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Category 2: 

  • You should be sending out quote requests now and be ready to file your Form 471 for C2 when the window opens.  All the documentation you need is on our website. 
  • Be sure to give the window 14 days to turn around quote requests and be sure to email the entire list of vendors on the Mini-bid sheet. 
  • There is no need to send the entire workbook out. Just send the worksheet with your project information.
